Turn it on
On PC, press V. You can also press Night Vision in the Actions menu. It stays on until you toggle it again. It works while you walk, fly, or are being carried, and on both hatchling and adult forms of the species that have it.
The official experience description calls it brighter vision that can be toggled in actions, for owls, nightjars, and Peryton.
Who has it
- Burrowing Owl, hatchling and adult. This skin arrived with the ability.
- Great Horned Owl, hatchling and adult. The hatchling also climbs. Adult heads were remodeled in the same update.
- Barn Owl, hatchling and adult. Adults also have Silent Flier. The adult head was remodeled.
- Nightjar, all variants. The unlock price listed for Nightjar is 350 Feathers.
- Peryton, the 600 Robux deer-owl pass, alongside its Magic and Rest actions.
Eagles, hawks, falcons, robins, ducks, and other diurnal birds do not get the button.
When to turn it off
The filter brightens dark forest, night desert, and overcast scenes so you can see trunks and bats. In the Village, street lights and Halloween lanterns plus Night Vision wash the screen out. Toggle it off in town.
Barn Owl costs 450 Feathers if you want Night Vision without a game pass. Burrowing Owl is a skin on the owl line rather than a separate Robux morph. Peryton is the only pass bird on this list.
